Recs: Torchwood fanvids, from a while ago

There are a lot of amazing fanvideos out there, a lot of vidders who do great and original and inspiring work, so it seems a little mean to single out vids to rec. But among all the vids that are out there, it's, I think, these four that resonate the most with me and showcase what I get from Torchwood, what I see when I watch the show and and subsequently what I write about. There's been a lot of talk about what Torchwood is and isn't for people recently (and in the wake of Children Of Earth)... Well, below is what Torchwood has always been for me and the angle I've watched the show from.
All of these have been recced on Torchwood House, partly by me, so they're hardly new, but I've just recently rewatched them and just wanted to show them around again because all four of them are great pieces of music/lyrics/clip editing that are so worth the minutes you need to watch them.
Kübler-Ross's Fifth by Currie Jean [Eric's Song by Vienna Teng] (TW 1 through 3, Jack/Ianto)
- one of the few videos that makes me choke up when I watch it, the music/lyrics to clips is so carefully chosen and crafted. I love that version of Jack/Ianto, and I think it's one I write quite a lot.
This Is The Way The World Ended by Currie Jean [Any Other World by Mika] (TW 1 through 3, Gwen)
- Gwen's journey through Torchwood, one of the few Gwen vids out there and my personal favorite. This vid made me write "Something Beautiful" for last year's writerinadrawer, actually, this is what I see when I see Gwen. (interestingly, curriejean posted this video around the same time I wrote Int x1; Int y1; Int x2; Int y2;)
Suicide Note by Analeian [Suicide Note by Johnette Napolitano] (Jack and Torchwood, pre-Coe)
- this is what I see when I watch Torchwood and what I think of when I write Torchwood fanfiction. I recced it on TWH, or at least did the write-up for the awards, so this is really, pretty much my Torchwood.
Affirmation by
butterflycell [Affirmation by Savage Garden] (DW/TW Whoverse pairings)
- what I like to watch for the other side of the Whoverse, the one I don't tend to write about much but that is rather beautiful. No handy youtube link, you'll have to download, sorry.
