If I had to guess, I'd say that Jack would do a fair bit of trying to get his partners to change, too. Maybe more. He's One hundred and Holy-fuck years old -- he must have a few opinions on How To Be. Probably not so good at keeping those opinions to himself, either, lotsa old folks aren't.
