Oh yeah with that scene it certainly fits. I'm more thinking about the scenes before that, all the couple-conversations where, I think, Jack's attitude could only be explained away with stress, temper and bad timing or something or other. I'm happy with CoE overall, so you know, I'm certainly not someone who has huge issues with any of it, but with this Jack interpretation it demands a little creativity to explain why he was fairly short and distant with Ianto.
That said, maybe he just hadn't got laid in too long, who knows.
