Thanks :) I'm insanely proud of this because I tried a lot of things here that I'd never done before, that I didn't think I could do, and they all worked out. I'm still not sure if I'm happy with essentially two timelines (let's avoid the word flashbacks), but I knew I needed to cut the CoE scene much like they did on the show and break it up at crucial moments to keep the tension, so really, I'm also afraid breaking it up with the backstory was a lame idea, but then, I needed the backstory to build the emotional backbone to the CoE storyline in this ... so, hmm, decision made and I think it works and I'm really glad it works given how much I constructed it and how little I'm used to constructing stories.

So. I'm happy with this, and proud of it, and it's not perfect but damn, it's close. LOL.
