I love the 'flashback' sequences. Letting us know that Ianto recognizes the fact that HE would have been in the 10% had he been a child.
Would Ianto have taken on the responsibility of murdering Jack's grandson if he had survived Thames House? We'll never know. And I'm not sure how I feel about his being a murderer. Or how such an act would impact his relationship with Jack, Torchwood, and Gwen.
Now you have me wondering. Would Jack have stayed with Torchwood? How would he act towards Ianto? Would he still have left?
